This result was probably justice for the point we robbed off them in August, but it was a bitter loss to swallow.

Very few chances created by either side, but Grimsby obviously had more. The best chance of the game probably fell to us with a great one on one chance after some suspect defending. Whitfield placed a curling low shot, but the ball rebounded off the post straight into the keepers arms (typical).

A fair result on balance of play possibly, but i really think looking back at the game, we could've snuck a draw.

Pretty good turnout in fans being as though we're bottom of the league again, seemed 70-100 odd.

One last note to end on, why on earth did the coach leave at 8.30? We got to the ground for 12.15 and im positive that cleethorpes isn't a place to spend for a cold November day. Shocking really, but we all enjoyed the day so they're let off (bar the result of course!)
