Marvin hands in transfer request
http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2016/08/29/club-statement-marvin-johnson/
Motherwell FC can today confirm that it has received an official transfer request from Marvin Johnson.
The club has been in dialogue with Marvin and his representatives over the last few weeks; today’s official request changes nothing.
Motherwell FC is a club who looks to identify, develop and then trade talent on; it’s a key part of our business model and the vision we sell to players when they come here to play.
However, we will not be cajoled or maneuvered to a point where we are forced to sell a player against our will for less than an appropriate value.
We owe it to our players, management, staff, shareholders and, most importantly, our supporters to ensure we get a fair price.
We are determined to continue the Motherwell FC tradition of developing players and proudly watch them flourish at the highest level, but that will only happen if we receive what we deem to be a sensible offer, based on all the relevant factors.
Only then will we sell Marvin, or any other contracted player for that matter

Who?
I'd be surprised if he stayed in Scotland.

Thatsounds like he is as good as sold, but they just want more money.
I wonder what our sell on clause is. This could be the deal that makes flash a legend if it's true that he got the clause added after he'd left.

My days, that agent of his has a lot to answer for. Quids in for us though I suppose!
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Probably last 2 figures being in the pence column.
Though have seen somewhere a figure of £500k quoted, can`t remember if it was asking price or turned down price.
Not much longer to wait.

Re: Marvin hands in transfer request
Motherwell want £1m for him,
happy if he moves for £750k ,.now thats 75k for us and 30% of that goes towards the playing budget, so enough to bring in a L2 player to boost the squad

Surely we'll make at least £50k

You really think Oxford would pay £500k ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,??ograzebrook wrote:Wonder how much?

My guess is the player has ''organised'' a move down south and the fee will be a compromise (add ons etc.) as no other club put in an offer.
My guess for what it's worth - £100k total - MAX
