The article says that he's signing a new contract with Nuneaton so that means he's NOT coming here.

Talks are on going - says nothing about the player actually agreeing to sign a new contract.

But I expect you are correct, as we can't compete with part time wages ................

If he wasn't going to sign a contract with his club then they wouldn't have issued this press release.

If he does sign and we make an offer then it'll be at an inflated price. In effect Nunny are warning other clubs off.

He might be an ambitious sort, who wants to give himself the best chance of making it in the game by training full-time and would jump at the chance of being at a professional club.

Nuneaton are a full time club, that will be an atricle for the fans who don't have much to cheer about as he is constantly linked with a move away and they are calling themselves 'shop window fc'. Who knows, 17 goals in a poor nuneaton side could be very good for us

My mistake I thought they were PT :oops2:

Nuneaton are renowned as a selling club especially towards the end of the season, when the bank balance goes south.

So maybe there is a chance - the attraction being the prospect of playing at a higher level (perhaps)

4th or 5th if we continue not to score away from home. If we can cure this then 2nd is quite achievable cannot see us over hauling Fylde now it is has I said after we played them at Aggborough its there's to lose

Well here we are with just the ten left to play, four at home and six away.
I see a maximum return of 12 for the home games but as we all know it is the away form which is letting us down.

We have away games against, Fylde, Tamworth, Gloucester, Stalybridge, Alty and Gainsborough.
Cannot see why we can't beat all bar Fylde and I think we'll get a draw up there.
Overly optimistic I know but I would hope for a return of 28 points from all the remaining games but reality is we'll drop more points away and probably end up with 23 in total.

Is that enough for second place this year? It should be. :D

It will depend on who Salford and/or Chorley have got to play won't it?
It is only a matter of time before those good people at the National Lottery give me the jackpot that I so richly deserve.

I refused to select anything in this poll because it didn't include 1st.

Any chance of another one now with a full range of options!

:)
