At least he met the benchmark for a payment. Wonder where he will end up.

Re: Lolley leaving
As much as I would like to see it there is absolutely no chance of him coming back here.
Watched a few games he played in last season and either he has lost a bit of pace or he isn't quite as good as I thought. He looked out of his depth in the Championship.
Best of luck to the lad though, I'm sure he'll end up at League One club.

I think it was Abbered who said that his injury/s had meant he'd had to alter the way he runs. Scunny would probably be a good bet for him. I doubt that he'll drop to our level for a year or two. Fair play to the lad he's had a go at a decent standard and hopefully set himself up for a decent financial future.Lovejoy wrote:As much as I would like to see it there is absolutely no chance of him coming back here.

Re: Lolley leaving
Yeah sadly it wasn't to be for Joe this season. Started the season well but a troublesome injury meant he was out for quite a while. If you see the players Huddersfield have on the flanks likes Van la Parra and Kachunga, then Joe was never going to force them out the side. I think it was only down to Wagner's rotation policy that he got as many games as he did.
Sadly his pace went as well and without that at Championship level then it's only a matter of time before you've had it.
The important thing for us is if Hudds release Joe or actually sell him. Hopefully the latter as we'll get a slice, but Hudds have a habit of paying players off.
