Why not let the fans in then? There won't be that many there."The game will now take place behind closed doors at an alternative ground to give both teams a good workout ahead of the season.”

Or simply reverse the fixture and play it at Aggborough - it's hardly far to travel! DV's pockets are deep enough to cover the costs!

My sentiments exactly. Play it at Aggie. Or is it too short notice to get the pies cooked?

Vince is probably worried about his carbon footprint driving 40 miles up the M5

He could of course walk - quite a few of us walked to FGR from Kidderminster a year or so ago - very pleasant and relaxing - ideal preparation for a game of football.Mystic wrote:Vince is probably worried about his carbon footprint driving 40 miles up the M5

Interesting final part to the journey to the ground. Very narrow road up a steep hill, just hope no-one coming the other way!P.Underwood wrote:I heard it's being played at Shortwood United
Not bad food at the ground mind, certainly more meat options that at FGR.

If it's at Shortwood why can't the fans go and watch? Not like there'll be many there anyway. May as well play it in a park somewhere.
