Few tweets regarding it, and a topic on their forum - http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=463&fid=221&act=1&mid=2114463171

Annoyed, but must have the clubs permission to do so IIRC...

better be for a 6 figure fee if he goes.

Why can't they just wait for that rapist to get out and sign him again?

I like that he's going on trial with them. I think it will show how out of depth he is in comparison to league 1 players.

I wish Jamma good luck. Either he impresses, wins a contract and gets the chance to further his career at a higher level. Or they decide against, Jamma gets to train with top players and uses all he learns to help fire us to the top of the table.

Obviously I hope we get a decent fee for him - at the moment we have an awesome front line for next season and he would be a loss. Can't see us getting a decent fee for him if it goes to a tribunal. Maybe Burr knew about this when he splashed out on Shakes and the two new centre halves, all of who would command decent wages.

I hope Jamma is still with us at the start of the season. At this stage it is only a trial, lets see where it goes.

Quotes from Danny Wilson.

"He's come in from Kidderminster and is very highly thought of down there. He's a big powerful centre forward. We'll have a good look at him. If he can get up to the fitness levels that we're at then he could be a real handful at this level.

He has a lot of rawness about him but a lot of players that come out of non-league do have, and you can shine them up a bit. "

Best of luck to him. He's still our player though and if it doesn't happen then he'll be back with us.

Wouldn't it be nice if our club supplied the information regarding what was going on rather than getting quotes fro Sheffield United.

...and also begs the question as to what would happen if Sheffield U. decide to take up Matt's option but his citizenship application has not come through yet?

I understood that when the Matt situation over residency first came up earlier in the year he was neither allowed to play or train with the football club.

If he is now having football trials with another football club or even if he is training with any football club does that mean his residency issue has been resolved?

Pershore, I thought the same when I saw him training with our squad.

The silence from the club is once again defening. If he goes hes an absolute arse. We stuck by him all summer, payed his wages and helped him through some messy times. He owes us alot of loyalty.

Thing is though, if the club have told him to go, in the hope Sheff want to buy him for the money, then its hardly his fault!

Prior to visiting here tonight I looked at Twitter and saw the following tweet from Andrew Maidstone -

@andrewmaido: Player @JamilleAntonio is contracted to KHFC following recent exercising of option to extend his contract...

Rather strange tweet given the news about Matts trial
