He was going to buy Wrexham before the fans trust finally took over - not sure they were all dancing in the streets over the prospect.

I wonder if he will be putting money into the club?

Well Chairman Serrell is 'thrilled' according to KHFC official press release.

Then again, have a look around the internet on anyone connected with any club at board level- previous owners, Chairmen CExecs- and attempt to find anyone with a good thing to say about them........... :???:

Very interesting reading from RP as mentioned...

I also trust Maton's judgement enough to be worried by his response to the appointment.

I thought I had heard of the name before.

Remember when he was with Shrewsbury and when he left there he was linked with us around the time that Youngjohns was sinking the ship.

More interesting links.

RP about when he was appointed: http://www.redpassion.co.uk/forums/wrexham/70709-jon-harris.html

Blue and Amber (Shrews forum): http://blueandamber.proboards.com/thread/71246 (Only first few posts relevant)

RP Q&A with Harris: http://www.redpassion.co.uk/jon-harris.html

BBC News video when Harris took over: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-east-wales-13413175

It seems he was also involved when Rob Bickerton (Remember him?) tried to take over at Wrex. We all remember the rumours when he tried to get involved when Barry was trying to sell the club.

Reading the linked posts ( thanks harry211!) all I can see are frustratingly obtuse references and vague hints at perceived ' practices' and the like.

Tells no-one anything.......... :???:

Until someone comes up with concrete reasons why we should all be concerned I suggest this close season we all hold our tongues, keep our powder dry and patiently await any further developments with an interest only devoted fans like us can muster.
