Anyone going?
Think we might be fielding our strongest team of the week in the Worcestershire senior cup this time out.

Hopefully if I can get from Chaddesley before 2.30 AND park the car somewhere within walking distance of the ground.

after considering my options of cycling, motorbiking, train or bus to today's game I've gone for the bus option, direct service and gives me time to sample Bromsgroves micro pub with choice of 6 ales.

Trialist scores for us. He'll probably score all of them for both sides.

I went, probably the hardest team we've played this week in the competition, well done to the young players and trialists who represented Harriers this week.

A big congratulations to all of those involved with the Academy, the coaches and players should take a lot of pride in holding their own against good local opposition and winning the trophy, I good to see talented kids coming through and I'm glad they got their chance today.

Seconded.

Also, didn`t concede a goal in the 3 games.

Yes, agree with everything above. Nearly didn't go yesterday. So glad I did. The effort and skill levels of our young players was impressive and very heartening. The football was constantly entertaining. I left with a very good feeling about the fate of our club. If we can bring through a couple of youngsters a season to pro level and maybe sell them on, it's a great model for a club like ours. Not long ago the youth team, if it existed at all, was an afterthought. It now seems central to where we're trying to go and that's a very good thing.

Great to hear, the academy is massively important to the future of the club. Such great news that we have teams right the way down the age groups, all playing to the same mantra.

The new deal with the college will hopefully improve things even further.

Onwards and upwards!

just the teams from U16 down dont get any of the money and all are self funding ....Be good if the club offered the DC teams some of that money

I think that must be the first time I have seen a Harriers team win a penalty shoot out.

Whilst we had a couple of chances to win the game in normal time as did Redditch BUT yet again a Harriers team with not alot of threat up front.
