Best Harriers Player? Mr Andy Ferrell

Why? Because each and every game he gives 110% without fail and adds bite into midfield. He's half of the Jigsaw of the Midfield, now wheres the other bit?

His best game?
Can't remember, Gives his all in most games. He's consistant so therefore he doesn't need one good game

General questions

Best game of the season?
Wasn't at Stafford so Vs York or Exeter at Home near the start of the season. Ware was memorable as it was my first away game and was good to see us win and not see an upset.

Best goal? Deano's dissalowed one vs Droylsden? If that doesn't count then Kenna's vs Weymouth was a sweet FK. For the opposition Challinors goal vs us in the Sultana Sheild at home.

Best other team? Torquay, They did dominate us at times but we did start to come back. If only Macca had came in, in his stride and not had an appauling debut. We might've drawn.

Best opposing player?
Dont take too much notice of the opposition, but Challinor sticks in my mind from the Setanta game. Zebrovski (Sp.) Was a good player from what i can remember, can't remember which team mind you.

Do you want Mark Yates to go or not?
Lets wait until next season. Will expand later, have bucketloads of revision to do.
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

It's there to gauge peoples opinion now that we're starting to improve. I'll edit it a bit.

Best Harriers Player? Fezza

Why? Gives 110% as Harry211 says and this helps inspire the team and set standards of industry. Before the pathological negatives chip in with their criticism, I also think he breaks the play up very well and does offer "drive" for those around him. While he has never waved to me like Scholesy has, he also has a good attitude towards the game and the fans.

His best game?
Again, I agree with Harry211 in that none stand out above the others as he has the sort of game which doesn't necessarily look pretty or that technically noteworthy and because he always offers 110%

General questions

Best game of the season? Several great games sandwiched in between an awful patch and the perennial inconsistency. Cambridge away great but so too was Burton as well as York and Exeter at home. Stafford were awful so not including that one. If I had to choose one, I'd go with Cambridge.

Best goal? Penna's one man show down the right against Salisbury (think it was Salisbury)

Best other team? The table doesn't lie and seen them 5 times live this season: Shots not great at the back but are excellent going forward.

Best opposing player? Hilton at Aldershot could go a lot higher

Do you want Mark Yates to go now that we're playing better or not? No - though it is very obvious and needs pointing out by nobody that the season has not been consistently satisfactory. A poor start in the period up to Christmas would be unacceptable and changes required.

It's a shame that four people (three of which are regulars on here) can't take this seriously.

Best Harriers Player?
Creighton. He has really dominated some centre forwards this season. Has been shown up against pacy players on occasions and I suppose there is some concern if his partner for next season has a lack of real pace also. But Creights is one of those who gives his all and stands up to be counted. An excellent acquisition.

General questions

Best game of the season?
Winning 6-1 at Halifax felt a bit surreal.
Beating Exeter 4-0 earlier in the season gives you a little bit of belief, as did a solid win at Burton.

Best goal?
I often wonder how people remember games and goals so clearly. Must be an age thing. I can remember loads of players, games, goals from when I was watching Kiddy from 10-16, but now I can't remember the season just gone.

Russ Penn has scored some crackers. A few of Christies have a touch of class about them.

Best other team?
Err. Aldershot?
Grays looked good when thrashing us 5-1!

Best opposing player?
Hatswell!!

Do you want Mark Yates to go now that we're playing better or not?
Well, he isn't going. We've had two 'alright' seasons where we've had some great wins, but some shocking performances too. Some seem to think that unless we get success then everything else it totally unacceptable. Next season is important and, like others, I'm inclined to say that the board should review it at Christmas time. If we are again 10th - 16th I cannot see the board finding that unacceptable and we may well be having the same old arguments this time next season. If next season is again mediocre, and passes by without any realistic chance of the play-offs, the board may well be advised to look for something new. I think he'd go sefore hould we be in the bottom 6!

Well done Creights for winning this one too.

Prize? Well what can you give a man that's already won everything anyway :dancing:
