I've put all the more interesting old threads in here so they can still be seen following the board overhaul in October 2008. It'll be read only.

Make that 11 assists for Sammy Austin.
Where are they playing Baj and Sammy? Baj has been used as a centre back and central midfielder at times this season, I'm not quote sure about Austin.

Baj played as a CB with Austin as a left sided attacking MF. Austin really looks the part.

Apparently County’s opponents Dorking Wanderers were only formed in the late 90s and have had 12 promotions in 23 seasons.

Was he the one who had one game with us, looked way out of touch and got subbed?

Yes it was.

Despite the OG, he still has the third highest rating among Raith players on the BBC report.

I felt he needed games that we just didn't give him. He played an hour against a very good Fylde side, was probably the one caught out of position for what turned out to be the only goal, then appeared to be cast out and we never saw him again.

There's probably a long list of players who have done little for us and gone on to be successful elsewhere and at higher levels. Ben Davies and Freddie Ladapo are two that immediately spring to mind.

Us releasing Ben Davies and going for more “experienced players” like Micky Mellon still bothers me to this day.

Ben Davies stood out like a beacon while the more experienced players around him weren't bothered about getting the ball.

Totally agree with that comment. I only assumed there must have been something going on behind the scenes. If not, a very strange decision.

Leon Clarke headed for Rushall on loan from Hartlepool. Surely this has to be his final goodbye. 24th club.
