Probably wrong again. 3-5-2 for the first competitive game this season, Neither Nicolson or Marv are wing backs.
I think the fact without Hodgkiss we'd have to play left-footer Nicho on the right and the inexperienced Green on the left prompted the revertion to the pre-season 3-5-2.
Sounds like we made a game of it too, according to BBC 14 shots and 6 on target?

Interesting to see if we keep the formation for next game......
I didn't see it that way. As Although Green is listed as a left footer, he seems if anything stronger on his right side.I would have liked to have seen him on the right side as he definitely, with theIr history, would have played Lee Brown out of the game IMO. It's a decent away point and apart from the first few minutes and the last 10 we looked apart from that comfortable. Should have won it with better finishing.

I understand that Jake Green wasn't very good in training this week ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

According to the official match report, it sounds like BR's subs 'three pairs of fresh legs' made the difference?
Why did we only make one substitution?
Maybe GW took heed of all the fan forum's comments about needless substitutions when we are leading ( like in the Torquay and Chester matches) ???? :rolllaugh:

A really good result after everything that has gone on over the past week. As others have said apart from the first and last 10 minutes we were good value for at least a point. Robinson, Johnson and Chey were superb, it was just a shame a lapse of concentration cost us the win. Chey, Danny and Gowling all were going mental at Grimes so perhaps he should have got rid instead of letting the ball go across him.

Yesterdays performance has to be a benchmark now, this league is wide open and we are still only 3 points off the play-offs. Interesting that some who questioned why Gary made his subs over the course of the last few games are now doing the same about why he didn't make subs yesterday! :rolllaugh:
