Well, we finally ditch the Hoofball that has been dominant in the past two months and resorted to keeping the ball on the floor and getting to the byline. Net result is one of the best performances of the season, albeit against very poor opposition.

Could and should have been at least six or seven goals to us and somewhat ironically, was possibly the type of game that would have seen Gashman find the net on more than one occasion. Still have major concerns going into the Christmas / New Year fixtures minus a target man up front to give us options.

Like I said on the other thread, even if we didn't need the money I think we'd have accepted that bid anyway, crazy offer.
Bliss has two goals in two games, so at the moment I suspect Rovers see it as a good bit of business too!!

The emphasis on the word,,,,,,,,,,'if'.

Bristol Rovers are a much bigger club than Kiddy, but even they don't have that sort of money to throw about, as witnessed by the compilation of their squad, and they moved on several big money (wages) players at the end of last season, plus several additions through the loan system - hardly the actions of a club with a spare £90k in the petty cash box.

But haven't Sainsbury's just paid them another slug of money for the supermarket development at the old ground site?

Nuneaton were poor and must go down but we still had to play well. I agree about Verma, he played the best game I have seen him play so far.

Pity we have to wait until Dec 20th for our next home game.
