Kate Bush to tour (kind of)

Post by Phil » Fri Mar 21, 2014 1:35 pm

Just London only but I'm tempted. That depends on the price and whether I can get a ticket after 9.35. They'll all be sold by then :???:

I think it night be a bit different than what people are expecting though. There'll be no acrobatics on stage or flying through the air. Could well be an acoustic set with the hits at the end.

tickets All gone Phil-

you could well be right reference the format of the show.

Never mind, I did the first tour in '79
The rock chick I was going out with at the time was a member of the fan club and scored a couple of tickets. We did Hammersmith at the end of the tour.
Not really my cup of tea music-wise but the show and visuals was excellent, and Kate was so easy on the eye (as was the young lady I went with!)

Happy days.....

I started waiting in the queue from 9.15 and got as far as bank details twice but then locked out.

By 9.40 it was just a case of clicking on any day and finding something left. By 9.50 it was just hospitality tickets at £425 each.

That gave you preferential parking ? (why when a normal person would get the tube in) and a glass of wine on entrance to the green room. Decent seats and a voucher for the after show party.

Note the 'voucher'. Only for the first 50 people so you may not have got in.

Hospitality didn't include the hotel rooms. Again just a voucher for money off, not the full amount.

I won't be going :crying:

Are you doing Neil Young/Crazy Horse at Hyde Park?
even those tickets are damn expensive - £220 for seating?

No. It'll be the same setlist as at the NEC last June.

He might do a Solo/Stray Gators or International Harvesters tour one day so I would go and see that. Love Crazy Horse but also love his SG stuff too
