This is a terrible shock. Absolute legend in my eyes.

Agree totally. Brilliant musician he was hugely influential for decades after. The fact he has fans in near enough every generation alive today speaks volumes. Loads of great songs by him, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, Let's Dance, Heroes, Modern Love, Sound and Vision were all fantastic in my eyes. Huge loss.
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Lost interest in DB after the Spiders from Mars era and the Mick Ronson stuff.

Sad news and indicative of the sad fact a lot of us on here are hitting that time in our lives where all our former teenage heroes are going one by one.....Philthy Taylor, Lemmy and now Bowie all in a month. :~

The word legend is often abused these days. I was privileged to see him as Ziggy Stardust at Earls Court in 1969 - Tim machine and duet with Tina Turner at the NEC. Another John Lennon moment true legend RIP

Very sad news.

I'm floating
in a most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today

Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do

RIP David Bowie :crying:
