Huge talent who sadly never reached his potential due to a chronic drugs problem. Sadly missed but memories live on. R.I.P. Peter. ‘Man of the World’.

Giant of UK blues, a sad personal story and so much potential unrealised through the 1970s and 1980s.
Only saw him live on stage in his latter years when he returned with The Splinter Group, and though he was still obviously fragile, every so often the magic flashed into his playing.
