I certainly didn't see it coming but absolutely brilliant, well done lads.

Some clips from the Grimsby Forum:

"Kidderminster played well today, I think even if we played well we'd have struggled, they didn't play like a depleted side.."

"All in all, our midfield was very much second best to that of Kiddy who looked strong, quick and mobile..."

"Kiddy certainly didn't pack the defence, they got men forward at every opportunity and always had at least two up front.."

"Here we go. First defeat for a while. Credit Kidderminster they played well especially Gowling.."

"Agree Kiddy looked pretty good. Passed the ball went, created shooting opportunities, took decent set plays and had a few tasty long shots.."

Amazing result today, congratulations to Gary and the players. Sounds like we played really well too. We must keep hold of Marvin!

Didn't make this one but from what I've heard a brilliant performance and a well deserved 3 points. Like most on here thought we would struggle but well done GW.
Wrexham on Tuesday is less daunting. COYR'S

This would be a great result if we were in a good state but to achieve it now just says everything about what we have here. Well done to the players, management and all the fans. You can't keep a good club down! Come on boys! So proud today.......... :red_army:

What a performance that was! Every player stuck to their task admirably and we were more than value for the 3 points. A great start from us after just 70-odd seconds when Johnson was sent clear and showed composure to slot it past their keeper from about 20 yards. From there on we asked 'could we park the bus for 89 minutes?'

There was no need as we matched Grimsby all over the park and Byrne took his header really well from the front post to give us a buffer. Credit to Grimsby as they finally seemed to come alive afterwards and had a 15 minute spell where they really caused us problems. A couple of free headers at the back post were kept out by goal line clearances and superb Lewis saves. We rode our luck but we also caused them further problems and could have snatched a 3rd later on. You can keep the big glory hunter fixtures this honestly was one of my best ever away days.

Very hard to pick a man of the match but in a good way, Lewis, Johnson and Robinson were superb but I give it Gowling who did not put a foot wrong all game, I lost count at the amount of headers he won and attacks he broke up to ease the pressure. He was a real leader out there.

Not many teams will take 4 points from Rovers and Grimbsy away so that must be a benchmark for us now. The players have showed there is real togetherness and character in this team. In a wide open league who knows where we can end up?

Great header from Byrne at this standard of footie - silenced some of his detractors

Jack Byrne's goal reminded me of his header against Fleetwood in front of the TV cameras - where he single handedly beat the opposition - unfortunately injuries have caught up with him and he is not the same player now - :crying:

No denying it was great headed goal, but only his second strike this season.

But under the current financial turmoil -- Harriers must be grateful for small mercies.
