A hive of activity on this thread eh? However, onwards and upwards. Today's game at Welling has brought an increased spirit of optimism amongst the Prediction Leaguers ranks. 7 think Harriers will win, a further 7 are going for a draw, with just 2 reckoning on a Welling win. Perhaps the renewed optimism comes from the fact that Welling appear to be destined for the drop, alongside already doomed Telford.
Hughsie is again the most fancied opening scorer for us.

Come on lads. We have a chance to get some points today. The last two games will be very tough. Hope the lads come back with a win.

Welling will be going for it so defence is the key. Need some speed in the team to score on the break.

Welling are going to be desperate for the points here - but they're not very good. There's no pressure on us. The players have at least been paid in time for this one. A draw like at Telford perhaps? :khfc:

Welling have never beaten Harriers in a league match according to the official site.

Wishful thinking from the official site. We have won the last five games against them though, the last defeats being in 1999 in the Conference and FA Cup.

That would be a good record as we've played them 31 times but sadly they've beaten us 7 times in those matches.

A huge huge shame. Let's hope the second half is better.

I turned the radio off to catch the National, and the third goal went in.

National went badly too, bets on Mon Parrain, McCoy's horse and Al Co were all in vain.

Been told we were ok for the first 20 minutes and then lost interest.

Some Harriers fans stayed in the bar for the second half

Miller tells Grimes that his interview will be "easy". Good to hear some probing journalism, but then again there's nothing to gain from it, and the players have no confidence anyway, as Grimes himself said.

I see we ended up with 4 strikers on the field, and only 2 midfielders, which just about sums the season up tactically.
