Interesting interview from Whild, saying that if players can't get the basics right then they'll be faced to come out of the game to become plumbers or taxi drivers.

No doubt inspiring words for our youngsters.

Unfortunately it's also true for managers.

I usually find it mildly interesting to keep on the internet stream after the game's finished to hear the interviews/chat afterwards...

f

True.

A board that blamed the fans, a manager who blames the players. Anyone at rhis club prepared to take responsibility?

Mind you, on the bright side, we do need a few more plumbers.

And there are never enough taxis gone midnight.

Some of our players are quite talented but they seem to be lacking in motivation unfortunately.

Motivation that should be coming from the management

Too much  and not enough :comeonharriers:

The scenario we're faced with is comparable to redundancy. Most players know they're gone, so you could have Jose Mourinho coaching them and it'd make no difference. Why would you risk yourself in any form of challenge when you may be unemployed and injured at the end of the season?

They have been playing like it since Christmas and they have not been faced with redundancy since then so that does not wash with me I'm afraid

Just to put it into context - that was Welling's first home win of the year. 3-0.
