Our members and supporters will remember the previous visit of the Harriers of Norway Fans Club, when they joined with the Aggborough faithful for the match against Altrincham, last Autumn. Those of us who attended that match cannot have been less than impressed with the passion this group has for our football club. As it happens, the takings in the Harriers Arms were well up on normal over that weekend. They did tell us that they’d be back later in the season and some of them will be gracing us with their presence for the York City match on Saturday, when they will no doubt be making themselves heard from the North Stand. Let’s hope our lads can put on a decent performance for them and continue the improved form they’ve been showing recently. Another 3 points would not go amiss.
Since the Autumn, we have been delighted to have recruited a good number of these guys as KHIST members and have been maintaining regular contact.
This time it will be a fleeting visit, but they’ll be making their presence known. They’ll certainly add to the decibel levels so you won’t have to search for them, They’ll be pleased to chat about ‘all things Harriers’ particularly if there’s a few beers involved.
They will have travelled a very long way for a home match, so we have no doubt that, once again, you’ll make them most welcome !
