Press, press, press. Seems to be working but need to be more decisive in front of goal.
As for the ref. Yellows for a bit of argy bargy but nothing for that shocking foul on the edge of the area + others

There we go! Three goals, three points making it six wins on the spin - and a December without a blemish.
Even better Merthyr and Fylde are pegged back late on (great work by Chris Williams to jinx Fylde). Harriers now four points from the south Welsh side, and eight from the north west moneybags.

Best I’ve seen this season. Most complete and dominating performance
Telford were half decent had some decent openings first half.
Only complaint was we didn’t score a second before half time but coopers goal came at the right time. His and Devines goals brilliant. First half Davis missed a sitter. Reynolds should have squared it in the first minute but spurned it wide
Midfield again quality with a brilliant blend of quality between cooper Davis and Reynolds. Back three solid and wing backs constantly involved. Hemmo was involved in most of our good moves, he just needs a goal now which will come. Ams hold up play top drawer. Walker was good again when he come on
Great crowd today for a night game. Surprised with the numbers Telford bought but fair play to them.
I think from the Chorley game we have averaged two goals a game. Which is decent enough.
We must keep hemmo PK and cooper for the season. January will be key for that alone

Another great performance. Everyone played their part. So many great performances. Obi foulkes Owen Evans kakambayi to name a few. Dibble could of had a chair to sit on he was probably that bored! Another win Saturday please! Oh and we gotta get these loan players signed up ASAPtonythescout wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 10:36 pm Best I’ve seen this season. Most complete and dominating performance

Actually the crowd tonight was average to poor for us. Disappointing really compared to the Hereford and Fylde games considering it is Christmas and Fylde wasn't.
Fylde 2667 (72) = 2595 home fans
Telford 3381 (680) = 2751 home fans
So we were up only 156 home fans on the Fylde game.
Hereford 4670 (704) = 3966 home fans
Herefords previous home league game (Southport) was 2638 (41) - 2597
Hereford against us was 1369 up on their previous crowd.
So is that 2650 average our expected home crowd for most games?

Given it’s an evening game where we traditionally have less that a Saturday it isn’t too bad
Comparing Hereford gate to a Boxing Day one isn’t a true reflection as boxing days usually generate biggest crowd of seasons
These gates we get thru the home turnstiles are higher than our league two days

What a great evening - and that's now five league wins on the spin! And finally a convincing win at home
We won that game in midfield. And with that blitz in the first five minutes when we could (and should) have scored three times. I don't think I realised how much Digger brought to the party until he was back - his physical presence, the energy of a kid in a sweet shop and his all round know how. Yet still I haven't included him in my MOTM choices... Which shows how high the standard is being set at the moment.
That was Charlie Cooper's best game for us. He ran the show, and his presence in the holding re is giving Davis more licence to roam and get forward. Hard to pick out anyone (bar Hemmo, who had an off night) who struggled. Evans (along with Cooper gets a MOTM vote from me) and Obi were excellent. Foulkes and Devine great down the flanks, Ryley an utter nuisance and AMS leading the line... It really is clicking at the moment. Subs also played their role - Walker gave Meddows a right run around, the Leicester loanee looked promising and both Kam and Kurt contributed positively.
I actually don't think we played brilliantly (we did, as Murray alluded to in his interview) get a little complacent and I don't understand why we were so eager to get the ball back to Dibble when at halfway or just inside their half. Every throw in was backwards rather than down the line - it all seemed a bit safety first and defensive.
But I'm being picky. I realise now Telford we ravaged by a flu bug, but we totally stopped them playing and even some of their fans have acknowledged how well we pressed the life out of them.
Can't make the Curzon game on Saturday. But hoping they can keep this fabulous run going. Saturday will no doubt be a big test.
And did I hear some pro-Murray songs from the North Stand? Definitely feels like everyone is pulling in the same direction.

Very similar to the Fylde game. We made a decent side look very ordinary by pressing them from the start, forcing them into making mistakes.
Time for some praise for Adam Murray and, I suspect, Stuart Watkiss for getting the tactics spot on again and for finally building a savvy, street-wise squad that give as good as it gets.
Could have given MOTM to just about any of the outfield players (Dibs had the easiest 90 minutes this season) apart from Hemmo perhaps who doesn’t yet look up to the pace of the game and got caught in possession too often. I went for Evans and Cooper.
Had to laugh at the kids chanting Murray’s name just weeks after calling for him to be sacked.
