Very unlikely I know but who do you reckon we'll be getting in to guarantee promotion back into the Football League and who do you think will be going from Aggborough.
Also any available players then wang them in here. I'll start with Dean Keates, released by Peterborough (and not Walsall )

McPhee and Riley to go and if that happens i am sure Barry will go to.
Would love to see Tubbs here and partner Mathews again. |

Given the financial situation, I'd hazard a guess we'll have to release a few before a new Manager can even think of bringing any in.
So perm any from Doleman, Sharpe, Farrell, Costello, Singh and Hadley to be released/loaned out , with McPhee to Cheltenham and Riley to a money-flush BSP club?
There may be one or two players without clubs ( like Moore last year) who'll come on a pay-per-play basis too. |

I can see a few going out the door - but Riley and McPhee will at least bring in some dosh - Sharpe to replace Riley at the back, and who knows Courtney might be sold as well
Out on loan :- Farrell Hadley I think Dolman will stay, if only to cover Courtney's sale.
Get the new manager in quick, Barry |

why are we selling??????????
why arent we buying, with the money from Penn, Creights, MBH, Yates and Howarth, the new manager should have at least 30'000 to boost the squad to take us up....or at least the play offs....
new manager will have great contacts in L2 and L1 so to bring in loan players........
a club in the black, just outside play offs, 30'000 to spend and a new manager!! all sounds good....
where does the 45'000 come from ..... 75'000 MBH, 7K Creights, 25'000 Penn, and 23'000 for the manager/asst manager ( and money saved on wages)....so 130k coming in......so 100k going into the club to pay the bills....and the rest to move forward! _________________ youth team....THE WAY FORWARD

You have to take the big picture- for every Oxford/Luton theres a Salisbury and a Barrow!!
Our gate average is and will remain below the budgeted level; 1,500 over a season??...... if we're lucky!
if as you say we get 30 grand to play with , that will inevitably go on wages rather than purchasing a player!
The we have got to attract a 'big name' manager with the promise of a decent salary and contract? More than 40-50K i'd guess...... |

Do not think we will see the departures some people are expecting.
Think it is highly likely we will not be extending the loan of Andrew,(possibly will link up with Cheltenham ?) and i don't think Spencer has done enough to be retained.
Expect Farrell and Hadley,(if fit), to be loaned out for the rest of the season.
Was Singh only given a short term contract till the year end ?
Highly likely that Knights and Dolman will move on and the only other departure could be Mcphee if the travelling is taking it's toll on him.
With regards to incomings, this will obviously depend on the new man. If it is who we think it will be, then a lot will depend on Chester's fate next week. (Sadly i believe the Conference Board will say enough is enough with all the goings on up there and throw them out the league with all records expunged.)
Would be happy for us to welcome Nathaniel Knights-Percival, Andy Mangan and/or Nick Chadwick and John Danby together with a utility defender or experienced Centre Half. |
