Farrell had a good game, when he had to he crossed with his left foot which you don't see Smickle do on the left wing. Also Farrell pulled the rightback out of position creating space for all 3 goals to be scored. |

I'm sorry Harty but I was sat two seats away from you in the first half when you posted that and I disagree. Whilst being a big Farrell critic, he was one of the few bright sparks of the half who looked like doing something - admittedly performing against the Pity is not something to crow about, but it would be harsh to say he was woeful tonight.
After a champagne-filled night out in Worcester to celebrate, I look forward to our two-legged final - let's end eight years of hurt and complete the long-awaited treble!!! |
totally agree that he looked bright etc. Especially first 10. But final ball and backing out of challanges and his lack of awareness let his game down. _________________ Harriersfansteam.co.uk |

Where's the supporter who was slagging off Lee Baker, not so long ago??
Sounds like Steve Burr has the ability to enthuse his players , even in a tin pot cup game the future looks bright.
Still undefeated under Burr. |

Didn't go to the game yesterday and delighted Baker scored..
But lets be realistic, if Yates hadn't left and took Danny Andrew with him, ' Bakes ' would still be sat on the bench. |

| I don't think Danny Andrew gave the team anything defensively that Baker doesn't, and Baker is much better going forward. Think it was more a lesson from his Fleetwood red card from Yates. I would pick Baker over Andrew any day. |

At last!! Errors cost us in the first half and we did not look threatening enough in their area. First half their goalkeeper was hardly troubled. Enter the half-time oranges and what was a cold miserable night transformed into some decent Harriers attacking play with Knights despatching the first and Baker with a quite outstanding run beating I think three Worcester City defenders scored twice across the keeper with shots any striker would be proud of.
Delighted for Lee Baker - enthusiastic - full of running - maximum effort and worth standing on a freezing cold terrace for - pleased I was there.
The Final beckons - do not throw it away please. |

Don't think Lord K meant that, we loaned him from Burton to play in the league, to play him in other matches you need permission. |

For the record all County Cups are compulsory for teams to enter and the ties count as senior games i.e. the same rules apply as league or FA games.....Managers in the past always tried to use these as one game of a suspension when important players were concerned! |
