As usual Jan's name was linked with the vacant Coventry City hot seat after the 'mutual resignation' of Gorden Strachan yesterday.

Along with a score of other names including Gary Megson (WBA), Nigel Clough (Burton), Ray Graydon (Walsall) and Sven-Goran Eriksson it is all media make up because the job has already gone to Roland Nilsson.

Nilsson mysteriously re-appeared at Highfield Rd a few weeks back in a coaching capacity although he had only just started coaching.

Jan does not need to go to Coventry though because they're coming here one by one.

We already have Andy Ducros, Daire Doyle and Sam Shilton on our books as well as the one Strach missed, Matt Lewis.

Now if he could get Lee Hughes..!
