The second round of this seasons LDV Trophy was drawn this evening and the Harriers name was pulled out along side 2nd Division Chesterfield's.
The game is another away trip for us and will be played the week commencing October 29th.
Chesterfield were promoted from the 3rd last season after quite a large amount of controversy involving a corrupt chairman.
The club was bought by the supporters for a nominal sum and allowed to carry on trading under much reduced circumstances.
At the time of writing all of their players are up for sale, although they don't seem in much of a rush to sell them.
Last week a court ruling allowed the supporters trust to carry on running the club for the next few months.
After being such a formidable side last season it all seems to have gone wrong this. They are struggling to hold their own in the 2nd division and look likely to be one of the favourites for a quick return to the 3rd.
