WSC Solihull Borough preview

ko 7:45 @ Aggborough.

We have a home game tonight but, even if it is only a minor cup game, we still need as many of us up there as possible.
This is our first home game since Lionel Newtons resignation and it would be good to see a few more than we usually get for a reserve match.

And it will probably be a reserve match tonight because Jan has said that he would rather rest as many first teamers as possible.

"Don't expect any of the first team players to be included because they have had a tough programme with playing Saturdays and Tuesdays.
It will be a case of some of the reserve players, but not necessarily all of them because we've also got a reserve game on Wednesday.

It's an opportunity for some of our younger players, so we are basically looking at quite a few from our under 19s team that plays on a Saturday morning."

We will get to see fringe first team players like Danby, Davies, Joy, Faulds, Ayres, Bird, Corbett and Shilton along with a smattering of reserve players like Lee Yates, Inderpaul Khela and Richard Langford.

We will also get a chance to see our former keeper Bendan Murphy playing for his new club, Solihull.

They are currently in third place in the Doc Martens Western Division seven points behind second-placed Chippenham Town.
They beat Gloucester City 4-0 last Saturday.
