  • Harriers finally secured the signature of Mark Blake today and are hoping that he will make his first appearance in a Harriers shirt in tonights friendly at Evesham.
    Although the game tonight is in doubt because of the rain.

    30yr old Blake has signed on a free transfer from Mansfield Town and has played for Wolves, Walsall, Portsmouth, Leicester and Villa in the past.

    He played for Telford Utd last weekend in a friendly.

    He scored 8 goals for Mansfield last term and hopes to score a few for the Harriers;
    "I weighed in with a few goals last year and hopefully I can score a few more this year." said Blake to the official website.

    Jan said;
    "I was amazed when Mark was released at the end of the season.
    I was always hopeful he would come here.
    He is a powerful player who has the ability and strength to be influential at both ends of the pitch."

    Jan is also giving Toulouse defender Sall Ebdou a trial in tonights Evesham game.

    What with Parfait Medou-Otye, Steeve Epesse-Titi and now Sall Ebdou arriving here we shall need to take a French dictionary to Aggborough on a Saturday.
