In todays draw for the first rd (North) of the LDV Vans Trophy the Reds have come up against their old foes from the Conference, Doncaster Rovers.

We are due to play the tie at Doncaster during the week starting October 15th.

This is the first year that Conference teams have been allowed to enter, being seen as a way to appease the feeling that there should be automatic relegation and promotion between the Third Division and the Conference.

Lets hope that we don't strengthen their argument by losing.

Doncaster currently lie in 6th place in the Conference and are one of the favourites for promotion.
