Sky Blue keeper arrives on loan

Jan has bought in Gary Montgomery on loan from Division One side Coventry City until the end of the season as cover for John Danby.
Danby should be taking Stuart Brocks place on Saturday against Southend and on Easter Monday when we travel to Bristol Rovers.

I say 'should be' but after the way Brendan Murphy was ignored while he was here I think it'll be Montgomery that'll be between the sticks for those two games.

Montgomery is a 19yr old Leamington born lad who has only played one first team game for City when he lined up against Chelsea in the Worthington Cup earlier in the season.
He got his chance after Chris Kirkland was transferred to Liverpool and Magnus Hedman and Morten Hyldgaard were on the injured list.

Now that Hyldgaard is back to full fitness it leaves Montgomery, for whom a big future is forecast, with no City team to play in, so City manager Roland Nilsson has had to look elsewhere to provide him with matches.

"What he needs is games and he will stay with Kidderminster to the end of the season.
Hopefully he will get the games he needs."

He can be recalled from the Harriers at any time if he is needed in City's battle to reach the play-offs.

He was also loaned out to Crewe a few months ago but never made an appearance.
