Birthday boy Bomber agrees to join Reds

Bo Henriksen, who celebrates his 27th birthday today, has agreed to stay with Kidderminster Harriers for a further 2½ years.

He finally put pen to paper in a 5 figure transfer deal from the Danish side Herfølge.

Bo made his debut for us along with Richie Appleby when they both scored in the 3-1 mauling of Leyton Orient in November.

Jan, who has signed him in time for the Carlisle game this Saturday, said to the official website:
"When he came over he wasn’t 100% fit and he still played a lot of games.

I think Bo has shown us when he was right.
For the games against Exeter, Hull, Rochdale, Torquay and Luton, I thought he was excellent.

That’s the type of performance we’ll get out of him once he gets rid of his groin problem which, in fairness, won’t be until the summer when he gets a chance to rest and do some strengthening work.

Never the less between now and the end of the season he’ll be a massive part of the squad because he is a good player.
The things that he does; holding the ball up, spotting the runners and his ability to score goals is as good – if not better – than any other striker in the Third Division.”
