     HOME

  • Carlisle Utd (home ko 3:00pm)

We're back at home for the first time in what seems weeks but was in fact only three weeks ago.

That was for the visit of Halifax, we won 2-0 and Ian Foster scored both goals, but Fozzie is expected to be on the bench tomorrow because the signs from Aggborough are that Colin Larkin is ready for action again.

Also returning will be Mark Blake so apart from Andy Ducros we should have the full complement tomorrow.

The only doubts are Adie Smith and Sam Shilton who both have groin strains, but should be fit.

With Larkin alongside Bo Henriksen and Blake partnering Danny Williams we'll be back to the line-up that ripped Hull City, Rochdale, Rushden and Torquay to shreds over Christmas.

The team have missed that vital spark in recent games against Halifax and Mansfield so tomorrow looks promising.

    Who we got? Carlisle. Oh!!

It's well known that we see Carlisle as our bogie team but thats only a psychological thing and can be overcome with our backing. We need a big crowd at Aggy tomorrow so get up there and get behind the lads.

Carlisle fans have got behind their side in the past few weeks, with the news of a new owner, John Courtenay, waiting to take over from Michael Knighton and the improvement in form the crowds there have risen by 2,500 in the space of three weeks.

They have put together some good results at home against Hull City, Rushden and especially against Leyton Orient when they hammered them 6-1 to make the rest of the league rub their eyes in disbelief.

Add to this two commendable draws away to Rochdale and Luton and it's obvious that this season may be their best for some years.

They did have a knock back against Darlington on Tuesday evening though when they went down at home 3-1.

Carlisle's manager, Roddy Collins, will be able to call on the services of Steve Soley, Peter Keen, Stuart Whitehead and Peter Murphy after they were all passed fit after shaking off minor knocks.

Out of the squad will be Ian Stevens, Brendan McGill, Alex Haddow, Will McDonagh, John Hore and Brian Wake who are all out with injuries.

    Carlisle from:
Keen, Birch, Andrews, Winstanley, Murphy, Allan, Green, Soley, Jack, Foran, Halliday, Nicholson, Weaver, Rogers, Hopper, Whitehead, Thurstan, Thwaites, Slaven.

    Harriers (from):
