Sall does "U" turn

The Harriers wayward defender Abdou Sall has walked out of Oxford Utd after just two fleeting appearances for them.  He had been on loan for two months at the Kassam Stadium but walked out on them yesterday after being upset over unpaid expenses.

Abdou Sall Sall had again been an unused substitute in midweek for the 1-1 draw with Darlington and asked the club if he could stay in a hotel rather than drive back to Kidderminster.  He had a reserve game later that day against Reading so you could see his point but the club were having none of it.

He booked into the hotel and submitted an expense sheet to the club later but they refused to pay it.  He then walked out on them.

Yesterday he was seen in Kidderminster although the club said that they had neither seen or spoken to him.

In a way it's not surprising that Abdou has done this, being easily influenced by his 'agent' but it does raise the question as to why Oxford took him on loan, then extended it, and still didn't play him.

As for the immediate future I think he should be put back into our squad as cover for the game at Darlington.

That's if he doesn't mind travelling to Darlington.
