Club laid low by bug

There's a bug sweeping through Aggborough and it's meant a call for drastic action to try and minimise it's effects.

Last night Andy Ducros and Scott Stamps were forced to pull out of the squad to face Southend after contracting the stomach bug on Monday morning.  After the game last night, that we won 2-0, more players complained of feeling a bit 'gippy' and this morning Ian Britton reported in sick although he elected to stay at his desk all morning.

As a consequence of this plague all training and fraternising between players has been stopped until Friday.  Obviously if there is no improvement in the situation and more players have succumbed to the virus then there may be the possibility of Saturday's game at home to Rochdale being in doubt.

It may all be a bit too late now though.  The horse has gone walkies!
