Flynnie stays for one more year

The Harriers captain, Sean Flynn, has decided to stay with the club for another year after finally agreeing to the new contract offered to him by manager Ian Britton.

Brit, who is back at Aggborough after his summer break, will be pleased that the firebrand lynchpin has decided to help the Reds with another campaign next season.

Many people were disappointed with Flynn's tantrums last season saying that he would rather lambast other players than be more self critical of his own performances.  The truth is that that is Flynn's normal style and has been a facet of his play at other clubs that he has been with.
There's no doubting though that a spell at a anger management clinic wouldn't go amiss.

Paper talk this week has been about the veteran Walsall defender, Tony Barras, wanting to join the Harriers.  Sounds like someone who's desperate for a job.

32yr old Barras spent time on loan at Plymouth last season and may be about to be released by 1st Division Walsall.  If he does come here he's another ready made replacement for Danny Williams.

The latest news on our Scarlet Pimpernel is that he's now back in the area and his 'Posh' girlfriend has started work in a local hairdressers.  Looks like he might be staying now then.  He just needs to pluck up courage to give Brit a bell.

One ex Harrier on the move last week was Dion Scott who has now joined newly relegated Nuneaton Borough.  They fell from the Conference last season after being tipped at the start of the season as one of the teams favoured to do well.
