Adie under the knife
Adie Smith, the popular Harriers defender, faced the surgeons knife yesterday in an effort to cure him of his ankle injury.
He has been in and out of the team in recent weeks with swelling to his ankle and after a course of anti-inflammatory tablets didn't work the club sent him for an operation to clean out the joint.
He is expected to be out for up to six weeks.
Meanwhile Scott Stamps, who has been out since the Swindon game on November 12th is also facing an operation on his torn adductor muscle. That will be this Saturday and may mean that we probably won't see him again until near the end of the season.
