Clyde may get re-call

The Harriers on loan defender, Mark Clyde, may be recalled for the Wolves away game at Stoke City on Saturday evening following a one-match ban for Paul Butler.

Mark Clyde Wolves are facing a lack of cover in defence with Ludo Pollet out with a back injury and unlikely to be back in time so the next choice will be one of the players who has impressed the Aggborough faithful in the time since he and his team mate, John Melligan, have been on loan here.

Clyde played his last game for us against Hull City last week and was expected to be on international duty with the Northern Ireland under-21 squad in the European under-21 championship games in Spain this weekend.  This now looks unlikely but he should be available for the game against Ukraine in Belfast early next week.

It will be Melligans' last game for us this week but the feeling is that his loan period will be extended but not Clyde's.

The Wolves manager, Dave Jones, said:
"We've had very good reports on Mark's progress at Kidderminster but the Third Division is very different to the First."
