After what seems an eternity the lads are back in action tomorrow night when they travel down to West London to try their luck against 2nd Division Brentford.

It's the 3rd round of the LDV Vans Trophy and we couldn't have asked for a harder task after dismissing Swindon Town in the previous round.  In that game we finished all square after 90 minutes with two goals each but then up popped Abdou Sall in extra time to head home the winner at the far post.

Abdou has now gone to Oxford Utd on loan and maybe he was hoping to do the same in their FA Cup game against Swindon yesterday but he didn't get much time.  He was only on the pitch for 10 seconds before the whistle blew for full time.

Back to our game and we should be back to full strength in the injury department, apart from Adie and Scott.  These two are now recuperating from their recent operations.

Bo Henriksen Bo Henriksen will be missing for this game after picking up five bookings, the last one coming at Rushden in the Cup.  At least we have Melligan back now though after Dave Jones decided the injury situation at Molineux had improved enough to let him return to Aggie.

Brentford beat Plymouth 1-0 in their LDV game and also beat York City in the FA Cup on Saturday.  They're doing well in the league too, sitting nicely in ninth place at the moment.

They will be without the services of Mark McCammon.  He was stretchered off with what looked a very serious head injury in the second half at York, but after spending the night in hospital, he was released on Sunday with concussion but he will miss the next two games as a precaution.

Andrew Frampton was sent off in that game for an alleged stamp.  He will be in the squad for tomorrow.

And finally, Jamie Fullarton will return for Brentford now he has served his three match ban for a red card against Crewe.
