It's a short trip over the Cotswolds this weekend for a game against one of our closer clubs, Oxford Utd.  It's also another game against one of the promotion contenders vying for a place in Division 2 like us.

Utd stand 4 points above us in 7th place but, like ourselves, are also going through a bit of a mini slump at the moment.

They won 1 - 0 at Lincoln last week but have dropped points to lesser teams such as Swansea, Macclesfield and Carlisle during March.  Bit like us.  Two equally matched teams then.

They'll be without Lee Steele (cruciate knee ligament damage) he's out for the rest of the season, Steve Basham (thigh muscle tear) and Jamie Brooks with the exotic sounding Guillane Barre syndrome.  We'll have to ask Jimmy what that is.

Utd's only foray into the loan market recently was to get Paul McCarthy from Wycombe for a month.  He'll slot in at the back.

This could be our last possible chance for the play-offs so it's one that we must win.

With the Easter weekend coming up we have a tough run of games.  This one, Rochdale away Tuesday night followed by Wrexham (home) and York City (away) on the Saturday and Monday.

We'll have Bo for the first two games but after picking up his tenth booking of the season last week he'll miss the crucial games over Easter.

It looks like we have seen the last of the disappointing Fraser Digby for a while.  He left the club this week after Brit said that it would be a waste of time having him sat on the bench.  So, he wasn't first choice anymore then?

It seems hard on John Danby.  He's now been called back from the Swifts, where he was getting games, just to sit on the bench.

Injuries this week have been Andy Bishop (knee), Bo Henriksen (hamstring) and Dean Bennett (hamstring).  They have been having treatment all week but should be fit for tomorrow.  Still out are Lee Ayres (leg) and Kenny Coleman (stomach pain).

Anyone seen Kenny?
