It's an historic match this weekend with the impending demolition of the old Cowshed to make way for the new 2,040 seater stand that's due to be finished by the start of next season.  Although we have seen little of the plans so far I'm sure it'll be very nice and look a bit more stunning than the doodles on the official website.

So Torquay have the honour again, after being the team first seen from the Cowshed as a league club 2½ yrs ago, of being the last to be seen from there.

This term they seem to be doing much better than previous seasons and now lie in 4th place after completing the double this week over their biggest rivals, Exeter City.  With a bit of luck we'll be doing the same when we travel to Exeter on Tuesday evening.

Torquay went into the midweek game on the back of their 3rd game in a row with an unchanged line-up and will probably put the same team out against us seeing as they have no real injury problems.  Only Jason Fowler and Sean Hankin could be missing after picking up knocks in midweek, but they should be fit to play

We too should be unchanged with Dion Scott still deputising for Kenny Coleman who is still struggling with a torn stomach muscle and will not be available.  Sam Shilton has been carrying a knee injury in recent games but I still expect him to start just as I expect Andy Bishop to be chosen in preference to Drewe Broughton.

Definitely not being considered are Abdou Sall and Andy Ducros.  Both of these have been released from their contracts and are free to find another team.  In Ducros case this will probably be at Burton Albion.

'Disciplinary reasons' are the reasons for Abdou's release said Harriers manager Ian Britton today.  In an effort to replace him Brit has been trying to sign the former Plymouth defender Jon Beswetherwick from Sheffield Wednesday but he has opted to join Swindon instead.
