Fozzie loan finished

Following his sending off, against Huddersfield on Easter Monday, Ian Foster has been told by Jan Molby that his loan spell at the club will not be extended until the end of the season.

Ian Foster He was facing a three match ban for violent conduct and would have missed the last two games against Torquay and Boston and also the first game of next season.

He would still have been available for our next two games against Cambridge this Saturday and Rochdale next weekend but this action by the club would seem to be a punishment for his un-characteristic moment of stupidity.

He will now return to his club, Chester City, but is unlikely to get a game there and will probably be released in the close season.  Will this mean that he will return to Aggborough next season and again start the season with a ban, just as he did at the start of the 02/03 season.

Also being punished today was Jan himself when he was handed a four match touchline ban and a £1,500 fine for alleged abuse and swearing at the referee during the game at Southend on St Valentines Day.

His ban will kick in for the last two games of this season and the first two of the next.
