Opening day sees another home game

The release today of the fixture list for the up coming season sees the Harriers starting the season at home for the fourth league season in a row.  Mansfield Town are our guests on August 9th and will have the honour of being part of the first league game in front of our new million £ stand.

The following week we have the honour of being the first visitors to Darlingtons new multi million £ stadium, the ironically named Reynolds Arena.  In fact we'll be the first ever opposing team to play there because all of Darlo's pre-season friendlies are to be played away from home to allow the club time to finish the stadium.

Here's hoping it'll be finished in time.

August Bank Holiday Monday sees us popping down the M5 to renew our acquaintance with Cheltenham.  Not that they ever really went away.

Other high points are the first ever game against Huddersfield Town.  That will be at Aggborough on September 30th, a Tuesday evening.

The return of Drewe Broughton is soon after when his new side, Southend, are made welcome on October 11th.

Boxing Day sees us playing away for the first time when we travel all the way to newcomers Yeovil.  Lets hope it's not a silly kick off time.

There is no New Years day fixture this time but we will be suffering, sorry meeting, Cheltenham at Aggie on the 3rd.  The next holiday fixture will be the visit of Huddersfield on Easter Monday, 12th April and the season finishes soon after with the arrival of Boston on May 8th.

By that time we'll be heading for the 2nd Division.
