Murray comes back

The Harriers tonight confirmed that Adam Murray is to return to Aggborough on an 18 month contract.  It's doubtful that he'll be on the kind of salary that Notts County fans thought that he would be on though.  £1500 p/w was mentioned.

Adam first came to us at the end of August after starting his career at Derby County in 1998 and then going out on loan to Mansfield Town during the 02-03 season.  He stayed with us for just three games but then left under a cloud after admitting to alcohol problems and then spending a month at the Priory Clinic in London.

After he left there he made a few appearances for Burton Albion and then Notts County where he soon became a big favourite.  They could only offer him non-contract terms though and he elected to sign for the Harriers just before Christmas.

He will not be available for the FA Cup game next week due to being cup tied after a made a substitutes appearance for County against Gravesend in the previous round.

Other team news following today's home win against Bristol Rovers is that Andy White is about to sign up for a further one month loan with a view to a permanent transfer.  It's believed that Mansfield are happy for him to leave but will want a fee for him.

There is also a nasty rumour going round that Matt Gadsby will be signing for Telford Utd soon.  Lets hope not because Gadders is an asset to us and we'd be stupid to let him go and keep no hopers like Betts instead.
