Harriers make exit from Worcester Cup
The Harriers, not un-expectedly, made their exit from the Worcestershire Senior Cup last night after going out to an extra time goal from Sutton Coldfield's Naveed Arshad.
Nine players with first team experience were appearing for the Harriers but they produced a display that was un-committed for them and boring for us.
Our only goal came via a strike from Adam Murray after twelve minutes when Scott Rickards crossed the ball over to him following a mistake from the Sutton keeper.
Jesper Christiansen tried his luck with a scissor kick but saw it stopped on the line by the incredibly named Exodus Geohaghan but our opponents from the Dr Martens League Western Division drew level after half an hour with a goal from former Harrier, Mark Wolsey.
In the second half Sutton lost their keeper, Justin Bray, with an ankle injury and he was replaced by Wolsey but he had thirty minutes of spectating because the Harriers frontline failed to test him at all.
Arshad got his winning goal just minutes before the final whistle to set his team up with a Final game at Worcester City.
