Huddersfield go back to the 2nd
The final part of the League 2 puzzle was solved today when Huddersfield Town returned to the 2nd Division after a one season break today after they beat a plucky Mansfield Town 4-1 at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff, on penalties.
Ex Harriers, Colin Larkin and Neil McKenzie played their part in the game with Larkin having a goal dis-allowed after the ball went out of play in the build up and McKenzie scoring the only penalty for the Stags.
So after just one season of being able to admire the McAlpine Stadium we'll have to make do with Field Mill.
At least it's not as far to travel.
The League 2 links page has now been updated to reflect the absence of Huddersfield and now includes all the new teams that have changed divisions in the past few weeks.
