The FA ruling that applies to yellow & red cards:
YELLOW CARDS
Any player who receives FIVE cautions between the first day of the season and the end of February will be banned for ONE match.
Any player who receives TEN cautions between the first day of the season and the second Sunday in April will be banned for TWO matches.
Any player who receives FIFTEEN cautions between the first day of the season and the last day of the season will be banned for THREE matches.
Bookings in every first team competition are accumulated together.
RED CARDS
Any player who is sent-off for two bookable offences, denying a goal-scoring opportunity or deliberate handball receives a ONE match ban.
Any player who is sent-off for foul and abusive language receives a TWO match ban.
Any player who is sent-off for violent conduct, serious foul play or spitting receives a THREE match ban.
Any player who receives a second Red Card in the same season will be suspended for ONE extra game. A player who receives a third Red Card in the same season will be suspended for TWO extra games etc.
TEAM PUNISHMENTS
If a team in Division Three has SIX or more players booked or sent-off in the same game, they will be fined £1000. The fine will increase by £1000 for each subsequent offence.
