Harriers whup Worcester

Jesper Christiansen silenced his critics tonight at Worcester with his first goal since the home game against Swansea last February.  Although it was a simple tap in at least it should do his confidence a world of good and he may get on the scoresheet a bit more now.

Following a blank first half City opened the scoring with a goal from Nick Colley and then came Jespers goal.  We then ran up a 3-1 lead with goals from Simon Brown and a header from Richie Appleby before City pulled one back to give a bit of respect to themselves.  That goal came from the highly rated Adam Webster.

Todays new signings Freddie Advice and Diop played no part in the game but Micky Mellon did and that should mean he'll be signing for us this week.

A crowd of 800 watched the game.  Almost as many as the average gate for City in a proper game.

Harriers:
Danby, Jenkins, Burton, Keates (Gleeson 81), Hatswell, McHale, Brown, Mellon, Christiansen, Russell (Appleby 54), Foster (Rickards 54)
