Molby heads for the exit again
In an announcement that came as no surprise to any Harriers fan, following what has been a disappointing season so far, Kidderminster Harriers officially informed us this morning that Jan Molby had resigned from his post with immediate effect.
At the same time they also said that the youth team coach, Shaun Cunnington, will take over for the foreseeable future and will be helped in his task by Gary Barnett.
Applications for the vacant position will be made available soon but don't bank your hopes on a new manager coming in from outside the club.
Favourite for the job has to be Graham Allner but he is not the answer. We need an experienced manager that is out of work at the moment and there is quite a long list of those. Some good, some bad and some that I wouldn't want within 100 miles of Aggborough.
Alan Buckley, Bobby Gould, Jimmy Quinn, Carlton Palmer and Steve McMahon Snr are all names that I don't want to see bandied about.
Amongst the better ones: Colin Lee, Chris Turner, Stan Ternent and Danny Wilson.
It could be an interesting game this Saturday between two managerless clubs.
