As promised during and following the defeat against Southend on Monday Harriers boss, Stuart Watkiss, has started to get rid of the players that he thinks aren't pulling their weight. Although his first victims are both non contract squad members neither of them have endeared themselves to the Harrier faithful.

Jon Beswetherick (I won't miss spelling that name out) and Liam Burns are the ones in question.

Bessie joined us from Bristol Rovers on Guy Fawkes Night last year and to his credit did give us some good games but not often enough.

Liam Burns only arrived at Aggborough on Christmas Eve and played in just the one game when he came on as sub against Swansea City and promptly gave away a penalty.

With Dave Morrison due to arrive from Bohemians any day now there are expected to be a few more leaving shortly.
