Molby snaps up ex Gull

Jan Molby made his second signing in two days today when he snapped up Reuben Hazell who has just been released from promoted Torquay Utd.

Although the Gulls management and their fans wanted the 25yr old ex Villa starlet to stay at Plainmoor he decided that he wanted to move closer to his Midland roots.

Reuben Hazell He never made any first team appearances for Villa before joining Tranmere Rovers, where he played 54 times for them.  He then went out on loan to Torquay in January 2002 and eventually signed for them on a free transfer.

He played 88 times for them but missed much of last season through injury.

He can play at both fullback and in midfield but will probably be used as a right sided fullback.
