There will be another new face for Harriers fans to remember this Saturday with the arrival of one William Jones from Leyton Orient, in fact there may be more than one because Stuart Watkiss is also after a couple more new players.  John McGrath from Doncaster and the ex Spurs, Southend and Hull midfielder David Lee are pencilled in before the weekend.

One day we'll get a settled side.

Jones is a direct replacement for the now departed Jon Beswetherick and is said to be an attacking fullback who has a good eye for free kicks.  We could do with one of those.  Liam Burns was the other departure this week as Stuart continues to rebuild the squad.

Facing Lincoln will be their former crowd favourite, Simon Weaver.  He spent a couple of seasons at Sincil Bank before signing for us a few months ago and he'll be up for this game.

"I know Lincoln as well as anybody because I played 100 games for them and enjoyed my time there.
It's a bit unfair what is said about them because although they are physical and stick very closely to a system they're not just a bish bosh team.  They've got talented players, who as well as being strong and athletic are sharp and alert, so it's a big test for us."

Back for us will be Wayne Hatswell after his enforced break following his dismissal at Cheltenham five games ago.  He'll be raring to go but might find himself on the bench as the boss may feel he's lacking in match fitness and will also want to try out a few different options first.

Dave Morrison, our new winger from Bohemians, could also be making his debut.

We have no real injury problems apart from Reuben Hazell and we could also be seeing the return? of Iyseden Christie soon after he was told that he can start training again with the aim of being back in the side by the end of the month.  Simon Russell might be doubtful with a slight knee injury but that appears to be the only one.

Lincoln also seem to have no injury problems but the manager, Keith Alexander, has been having a mid season clear out of some of his squad.  Martin Carruthers is having a trial with Cambridge Utd and Adrian Littlejohn is thought to be joining Rushden soon.

It will still leave them with a far bigger squad than we could ever dream of.

I'll say this yet again but it really is time we started to pick up a lot more points than we have been.  With Shrewsbury at Rushden on Saturday we could be left further behind if we don't win.  At least we shouldn't drop any further down the table because I can't see Cambridge getting much change from Bristol Rovers.
