As mentioned on Saturday evening the Harriers have landed the signature of the ex Scunthorpe midfielder Wayne Graves. The 24yr old was released by the North Lincolnshire side at the end of last season after 8 years of service for them playing in a total of 161 games for the Iron men.
The right sided man has signed for the Harriers on a one year contract and his new manager had this to say about his latest acquisition:
"I think this is a great signing for us, Wayne has played over 150 first team games for Scunthorpe and he's clearly a good breed of player. He may be a little behind in his fitness but as pre-season intensifies over the next week or two it shouldn't be long until he's up to speed with the rest of the lads.
He's a player that covers a lot of ground on the pitch and he'll also provide good back-up in the right-back position."
Wayne will be joining up with his ex-Scunthorpe team mates Mark Jackson, Gareth Sheldon and Russ Penn at Aggborough as part of the Scunthorpes Old Boys team.
